CBS orders full season for 2 BROKE GIRLS

Comedies are ruling the season:  The fourth new show to receive a full season pickup is the fourth half-hour comedy.  No dramas have been picked up (yet).  One has been canceled.  No comedies have been canceled (yet).  Apparently 2011 is the year of the sitcom.

2 BROKE GIRLS, starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, averaged 11.5 million viewers in its third episode with a 4.5 rating in 18-49.  This matches the ratings for its lead-in, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, which is currently in its seventh season -- so that's pretty impressive.  No surprise then that CBS gave the green light to this popular girl-power/odd-couple fusion.

How do you feel about 2 BROKE GIRLS getting a full season?
